...just messin'. Great song man. I know, I've been so drugged up from the wisdom teeth pulling that its been tough to stay focused. I'll try the percussion stuff later on today and see what I can come up with for ya.

In all honesty, I'm your typical white guy who doesn't listen to too much hip-hop. However, I do know music. This was done very well. The voice levels are perfect. The music isn't drowned out by the lyrics.

close to the right idea...

It has a good start, however I would like to make a suggestion. at 00:18 you should lose the 8-bit sound a fully remix the song. It would give you that 8-bit start and fully transition it to a modern sound. Towards the end you could transition back to 8-bit.

How it is right now, it's very plain. Keep at it though.
