I have no idea what I'm listening to; mainly because the instruments are fighting for volume. Keeping everything at high volume does nothing but kill the listeners ears.
My advice to you; listen to people with constructive criticism and toss in a compressor or ten. You want listeners to enjoy the music, not run for the stop button.
oh, and a witty response isn't necessary; just fix the track.

Saying this abnormally sedate, I really don't know what you downvoters are on about. I did rush this, though, but I didn't make it _that_ awful to the ears.

You need to get off that high horse and write something new and good for once. This sounds exactly the same as your other songs. Those had beats and synths; this has beats and synths. LAME.
On a serious note, it's catchy and I can definitely see this is some form of Marble Blast Ultra style game. Nicely done, and a fresh new track.
As for those who have a problem, just relax. The truth here is that he's great at this genre of music. Don't be suprised he gets high votes, not because he's "popular" on newgrounds, but because his music isn't half attempted excuses for a "track". If you want to be known, get better at writing music. Everyone starts from the bottom.

You have the ear for music, that much is obvious, but your comment is somewhat silly. You want to make friends here on Newgrounds? Are you active on the forums? It takes work to become known; I'm not personally extremely well known here, but I've gained a decent fanbase.
Best advice I can give you is; keep writing music, take constructive criticism for what it is; and build on it.
Also, harsh comments aren't directed at you, but at your music. Keep on writing music, because as any musician knows, it's a personal escape from reality; and everyone needs that escape.

you've inspired me to work on an alundra remix. dear god did I love that game back in the day. Back when the prettiest 2D games you could play were Alundra, Rayman, and Guardian Heroes.

I'd have to admit that I'm quite a fan of the music in FF8 as well. This particular song was always one that definitely got your heart racing and ready to kick some bootay.

Thanks man! Yeah this song is just epic, grimey and the flair that we've all come to know from Nobuo. I never knew how much fun it was to write near his style until this song, i'll have to do more work like this just to get better.

The only issue I think you have at the moment is your sound library. This is a very catchy theme song, which is very hard to create for any game. It's so well done that even I want to remix it myself. But you've done a great job on this.

i know i have a very crappy (small) library for sounds... and it doesn't overly worry me because i can get close to what im after. Feel free to out do me... i don't mind i'll probably use your version before mine lol. If you do remix it send me the link... i will seriously concider using it.
